The fourteenth international tour of the Voices of Bahá will be to India, from
June 11 to 27, 2010. This international choir has performed in more than thirty
countries over the past sixteen years, involving more than one thousand
singers and musicians from every part of the world.
India is a country rich in musical traditions and home to a large and active
Bahá'í Community. The beautiful Bahá’í House of Worship in New Delhi is
known and admired throughout the world as a wonder of architectural beauty,
design and construction. The Voices of Bahá will sing and record in the Bahá'í
Performing Arts, which is regarded as the most prestigious concert hall in India.
Applications are now being accepted from singers, teachers, organizers and
other information can be found on this website. Those who have not sung or
traveled with the Voices of Bahá in the past are welcome to apply to join.
As the flight path to India for travelers coming from North America and Europe
is over Israel, there will be an optional stopover for a three-day visit to Haifa
before arriving in India.
